You have read three short stories, an article about fifteen marketing strategies, an article about marketing to teens, an article about how sometimes our decisions are made based on our emotions and how one student purchased a product based solely on how it was marketed to her. Why is it important to understand why people do the things they do? What decisions did Della, Rainsford, Mme Loisel and Haley make? What were their choices? Do you think they made the right choices? Why? Use information from your Readers Notebook, from your marginal notes, and from the articles and stories to support your point of view. Compare the decisions made in the three stories. How were they similar and how were they different.

Step 24: Summative Assessment- Personal Narrative

Have you ever made a decision you knew was not in your best interest but you made that decision anyway? What was that decision? What were your choices?
